Credit Suisse joins global 2030 WRG Governing Council
Credit Suisse has joined the 2030 Water Resources Group to support 2030 WRG activities globally and in its country programs. The collaboration will focus on strengthening multi-stakeholder cooperation between public, private, and civil society actors on sustainable water resources management.
As a global financial institution, Credit Suisse has been active in the sustainable investment space for almost 20 years. In 2020, the institution announced its ambition to align its activities with the Paris Agreement objective of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. The bank is constantly broadening their sustainable investment offering and aligning it more and more closely with the SDGs. Other activities in support of the SDGs include Credit Suisse’s environmental management system as well as their long-standing global initiatives in education and financial inclusion.
We welcome Credit Suisse as a 2030 WRG global partner, bringing in solid expertise on financial innovation and a strong focus on finance facilitation for water sector outcomes.
